I have worked a lot with professional speaker members of CAPS, real estate agents, human rights and mortgage brokers. I've also worked for companies in tourism, audiology, optometry, opthalmology, heavy equipment, wine kit manufacturing, beer manufacturing, YMCA-YWCA, OSTEC, wood products, healing, dot com, and...well...I've probably forgotten a few industries.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leisure and Tourism from the University of Calgary and about fifteen years experience in marketing (with about twelve of them being online marketing). I was lucky to work with OSTA (now TOTA-Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association) early in my career to develop an excellent practical knowledge of tourism marketing.
In 2003, I wrote and self-published a 170 page paperback called: Secrets of Internet Marketing: Streamline, promote, communicate and sell more effectively on-line.

My family is most important to me. I live with my husband of twenty years, Shawn and our dog and two boys. I am an active member of Vernon Women in Business and a member of the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce. I live twenty minutes from Silver Star Mountain Resort and I love to ski double black diamond runs (if you are not a skier, that means I like to ski the big bumps). In the summer, you can find me boating on Okanagan or Kalamalka Lake, pulling weeds in my garden or riding my mountain bike up at Silver Star with my family.
